Since you've learned more about Rocking Chair Therapy, you may want to learn more about rocking chairs themselves.  Rocking chairs are available everywhere these days, but they are not always designed for comfort or are built to last.

Our sponsors have created rocking chairs for over 80 years. Focusing on fitting the human body and using durable materials and methods, we think you will find these companies have the most experience making rocking chairs and thus the finest products available.

Please visit their websites to learn more and start rocking!

Troutman Traditional Rockers

Since 1924, our rockers and chairs have been proudly handcrafted from start to finish in Troutman, North Carolina.  We are passionate about creating furniture of uncompromising quality and providing our customers with the the utmost comfort in our chairs.

We hand select the NC oak logs, season and dry them on our premises and build the chairs using time-tested methods like swelled joint construction & interlocking joinery.  GLUE IS NOT USED IN THE MAKING OF OUR CHAIRS. Our rockers come in three sizes and have a contoured back and single-slope, double-scoop seat for ultimate comfort.  See our website for a dealer near you and to learn more about our products and company .

Since 1926, we've offered curved backs, wide armrests, cane seats and backs.  John F. Kennedy Jr.'s doctor suggested this chair as therapy for his back.  Our chair became "The Kennedy Rocker" - an overnight sensation - and our design as not changed.

The cane rocker seat and back offer firmness and natural spring providing firm, yet flexible support.  The seat height doesn't create undue pressure on the user's legs.  These design traits benefit those persuing rocking for the therapeutic benefits. And it's nice to know that the bold styling makes a statement within any decor.

Please visit our site to purchase a chair, find a dealer near you or to learn more about the history of the true "The Kennedy Rocker."
